Some highlights of the year


In 2022 we got the opportunity to systematically start again our presential sessions in Europe while maintaining - mainly for Asia and America - our on-line model developed in the “Covid years”. We gained some new customers in traditional domains like the automotive business but also in the consulting field and the tech sector. 

MBA
Mannheim, February-March 2022

After two years of on-line lecturing it was possible in 2022 to run the 4-days module “Cross Cultural Management” of the Full-Time MBA at the Campus of the Mannheim Business School. 30 students from 15 different countries attended the course and really enjoyed the quality of direct interactions. A similar session was organized in the framework of the Executive MBA Mannheim-Shanghai (Tongi University), focusing on the German-Chinese relationships. The Mannheim Business School is the leading institution in business administration in Germany.  

Cooperation for start-ups (cont.)
Barcelona, July, 2022

After Contentful we have been cross-culturally supported for many years, we were asked by uberall, a leading platform for hybrid customer experience, to accompany their Marketing and Communication Team working remotely from Berlin, Cape Town, Paris, Rom, San Francisco… The main objective of the Bridge session we conducted in Barcelona was to reinforce cross-functional work, to reduce some cultural gaps, to develop shared business practices and team cohesion, to get rid of “friendly avoidance” and to integrate new comers. 

National or business culture?
Lyon, September 2022

Our cross-cultural approach combining both field and research is predominantly about identifying and mastering cultural differences between countries. In the meantime we learned that this methodology can be successfully used for helping different sectors and functions of the same company to work better together. It was exactly the request of Plastic-Omnium, a world-leading provider of innovative solutions for a more connected and sustainable mobility. During the Top Management Meeting of both Sales and Purchasing Pateau Consultants was asked to coach these two groups, helping them in a playful way to question their perceptions and to create a common frame of reference.  

Fostering team spirit at Deloitte
Francfort, September-November, 2022

At Deloitte, the global provider of audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, Pateau Consultants was entrusted with a mission to support the cross-cultural team of a competence center based in Europe and working remotely.  After a series of interviews two seminars were run with the following objectives : better understanding of cultural differences between Germans, Latvians, Rumanians and Russians, building bridges between different fields of expertise, i.e. tech, data analysts, comms.
